Best practices for course audio

  • Choose the instructor's spoken language, not the website interface language.
  • Use the always-on-top window beside slides or code when your browser supports it.
  • Pause Any Voice during exercises or silence so translation time is not consumed.
  • Treat names, formulas, and specialist vocabulary as approximate; verify important details in course materials.

What affects live subtitle quality?

  • Clear speech is easier to recognize than overlapping dialogue or loud music.
  • Fast speech, slang, dialects, jokes, names, and invented terms may be mistranslated.
  • Because the translation is live, text may arrive after the speaker and may be revised as more context becomes available.
  • The source must play in a browser tab that can be shared with audio.

Any Voice can process a web meeting or webinar when its audio plays inside a Chrome or Edge tab that you are allowed to share. It does not join the meeting as a bot; the translated subtitles are for the person running Any Voice.

  • Join through the browser rather than a desktop meeting application.
  • Share only the meeting tab and confirm that tab audio is enabled.
  • Follow your organization's consent, confidentiality, and recording policies.
  • Do not use automated subtitles as a substitute for a qualified interpreter in high-stakes situations.
