How to translate browser audio in real time.

Any Voice turns speech from a browser tab into live translated subtitles. Open the web app, choose two languages, share a Chrome or Edge tab with audio, and start reading. You do not upload the complete video or install an extension.

What does Any Voice require?

For the most reliable experience, use a current desktop version of Chrome or Edge. The audio must be playing in a browser tab that the browser allows you to share.

THREE STEPS

How do I start live subtitle translation?

  1. Step 1

    Open Any Voice and choose languages

    Use current desktop Chrome or Edge, sign in, and select the spoken language and the subtitle language you want to read.

  2. Step 2

    Choose the browser tab

    Select Choose translation tab, pick the Chrome Tab or browser-tab option, choose the tab that is playing audio, and enable Share tab audio.

  3. Step 3

    Start translation

    Press play in Any Voice. Translated text appears as speech is processed. Open subtitle mode for a movable always-on-top window when the browser supports it.

YOU STAY IN CONTROL

What happens when I pause or stop?

Pause finishes the active translation session but keeps the selected tab ready. Audio is no longer sent and translation time is not consumed while paused. Press play to resume with a new live session.

Stop ends translation and releases the shared tab. Choose another tab when you want to translate a different source. Closing the always-on-top subtitle window also stops an active translation session.

QUICK CHECKS

Why am I not seeing subtitles?

Check tab audio

Pick the browser-tab category, select the tab that is actually playing sound, and make sure Share tab audio is enabled.

Check the source language

Select the language being spoken. A mismatched source language can reduce recognition and translation quality.

Use clear audio

Background music, overlapping speakers, accents, names, and poor connections can cause errors, omissions, or delay.

Stay on desktop

Mobile browsers generally do not provide the browser-tab audio sharing workflow that Any Voice needs.
